Siler used to play keyboards for the band Brothers NYC and played here many times. Once his keyboard short-circuited after spilling a pint of Smithwick’s on it. Fortunately, Bowery Electric always keeps a real upright piano on stage. He was able to finish the show (minus a Smithwick’s). Perhaps Loy or Bartels will grace us with ivory tickles…
