This will be the first-ever presentation of the show in its entirety. Tonight we rehearsed two of the songs from the show “Detoxed” and “Don’t Look at Me.” Nathan Siler composed the music and, in the interim, is musical director, but he will not be at the show (huge slice of sadness pie), so he’s playing bass and leading rehearsals until actor/musician Addison Aquino takes over on bass [Addison is busy learning all the acting parts tonight!]. Shawn Bartels will be the on-stage bandleader. Nico Piccardo joined us on lead vocals as he is the lead character of the show (Nys), and we’re honored to be joined (eventually) by Sofia Insua on keyboards, who is generally a vocalist and figurehead of her own projects, but she has graciously agreed to help us out on keyboards.
